This was officially the final Small Faces 45 (though the record company subsequently issued 'After glow of your love') and reached #16 in the UK charts in 1968. Famous for being partly recorded in Marriott's garden, his dogs can be heard barking in the background. (One of the dogs, Seamus, was later heard on Pink Floyd's 'Meddle' album).
The B-side, 'Donkey Rides, A Penny A Glass' is a charming piece of 60's nonsense, quite light-hearted at first but then has a terrific instrumental section with marvellous sax playing (by Mel Collins?).
