1980's re-issue in Elektra's 'Treasured Tracks' series of 45's, the A-side originally came out in 1968. Arthur Lee's haunting and haunted vocals, backed by superb musicianship including Hugh Masakela on trumpet, render this an absolute classic. B-side is 'The Castle' instrumental (used in the 1970's as the theme tune for BBC TV's 'Holiday' programme), originally issued as the flip of 'Softly To Me' in 1967. A-side is very clean, B-side has some surface marks which do not affect play at all. 2 great sides which would be ideal for a jukebox. Comes in generic 'Treasured Tracks' company sleeve.
