Here we have Marianne Faithfull's "Sister Morphine" / "Something Better". This is the 2014 re-press of the highly collectable 1969 issue which was withdrawn just prior to release. Marianne was being promoted as a somewhat demure young lady by her record company, U.K. Decca and the hierarchy were aghast at the thought of her image being ruined by the tone and content of this collaboration with co-composers Jagger and Richards. The B-side is her cover of the Mann and Goffin composition.
Thankfully it has been re-issued by Universal in a very close simile to the original and is available for the bargain price of £5.00 (at the time of going to press the last Ebay sale of the original realised £90). Comes in reproduction sleeve; there are very slight pressing flaws on the push-out centre but the vinyl is as new.
