Thumping mid-60's Chicago soul from Mr. Johnny Sayles. Rough-edged vocals (just how I like 'em) and powerful instrumental backing - a fine item, as is the B-side "You told a lie". Both sides of this 45 issued on George and Ernie Leaner's 'Mar-V-Lus' label were composed by top drawer sax player Monk Higgins but also with a credit to one L. Tate. Seems strange to think that despite the quality of tunes like this, the label had folded by 1968.
The vinyl is in great shape and the record comes in a plain white sleeve.
