1969 solo release from Christine Perfect, aka the then Mrs. John McVie. This lovely wistful piece is a Danny Kirwan composition which appeared the same year on Fleetwood Mac's classic (IMHO) "Then Play On". Intriguingly, the B-side "No road is the right road" was penned by Ms. Perfect but was credited to O. (for Olwen) Simmonds. Musicians on the B-side included fellow Blue Horizon alumni Top Topham and Rick Hayward.
The single bombed, not least because she refused to promote it on Top Of The Pops. Both tracks appeared on her self-titled album of the following year.
Condition of vinyl is, coincidentally, just about perfect and its original wavy top company sleeve has only minor blemishes.
