Atmospheric 1963 instro issued on Decca, this was the 3rd and final 45 issued by the group. The A-side had already been recorded by Joe Meek but due to his reluctance to issue another 45 ("musically too complicated") by the band following on from their 2 fine releases for HMV, it was re-recorded and issued on Decca as F 11714 in August 1963. The excellent guitar work on the B-side "The Bogey man" was played by an unknown session man. Both sides were composed by the then leader of the group, Peter Knight.
This is a demo with some surface marks on the A-side resultiing in slight crackle on the run-in grooves. The B-side is very clean and is an excellent, moody piece. Comes in company sleeve.
