1973 album of cover versions which was Bowie's seventh studio outing. The tracks were apparently amongst those he heard during his days going to clubs in the West End of London in the mid-1960's. His backing band had changed slightly from the 'Spiders from Mars' in that Mick Woodmansey had been replaced by Aynsley Dunbar. There are some terrific offerings including a sinuous take on 'I can't explain' and a great version of The Pretty Things' 'Don't bring me down'. Looking ever the cool dude on the LP sleeve, the front cover is also graced by the legendary British supermodel of the 1960's, Twiggy. Both vinyl and cover are in excellent condition although the insert has some mild staining.
