Apparently this was a London-based R & B combo who recorded two 45's for Pye's Piccadilly subsidiary. This was their second 45 and is a white label demo from 1965. At one time they had a pre-Yardbirds Jeff Beck in their ranks but he was not suited to their purist blues style. It is strongly rumoured that he played on this record (its appeared on a couple of Beck compilation cd's) but this cannot be verified and in my view is unlikely to be the case. The landmark fact about this record is that the A-side was (Sir) Tim Rice's first recorded composition. The B-side is a cover of the old T-Bone Walker song. One side of the original company sleeve has a 'W' written on in crayon. The record has a solid centre.
