An Acme label repress of a very scarce psych 45 originally issued on Decca in March 1968. The A-side "Loving Sacred Loving" is a fine piece of 60's rock (originally issued on the flip) but its the B-side of this issue "Shades of Orange" that is in demand - a great slab of pysch with heavy organ and a stuttering, utterly hypnotic riff. The record is also notable for being produced by Bill Wyman and features Charlie Watts on percussion and Nicky Hopkins on keyboards. It was recorded during spare studio time while the Stones were makiing 'Their Satanic Majesties Request'. It was the band's second 45, having had another non-starter on Philips in 1965; their only studio album "Introspection" sells for £500+.
An absolute must for psych fans who would rather not pay up to £100 for an original!
