Early pressing of the debut 45 from this Minneapolis, Minnesota 4 piece band. With 'King of the surf' on the B-side, this reached #4 in the Billboard 100 Chart in 1963. Issued on Garrett records, the A-side is credited to drummer and vocalist Steve Wahrer; following a lawsuit the record was re-credited to the Rivingtons, as it was deemed to have been plagiarised from their hit single 'Papa-oom-mow-mow'. Comes in plain brown sleeve (possibly the original one in which it was first sold) with slight staining on one side. Vinyl is only VG but if you turn up the volume you wouldn't know.
