1970 UK Decca release by this German band which reached #8 in the UK chart in 1970. Fuzz and Wah-Wah guitars to the fore and Edna Bejarano's rather spooky vocals carrying the song at a fair old pace. This version was a re-recording of the song which had originally been laid down in 1968 with Henner Hoier on vocals. The A-side and the flip 'Geraldine' are Herbert Hildebrandt and Harald Winhauer compositions. For academic interest, this songwriting duo also penned 'Mademoiselle Ninette' which was a Europe-wide hit for the Hamburg-based Liberian band The Soulful Dynamics in 1970.
