"Why don't you try me" is a nice mid-tempo soul standard from Maurice & Mac, b/w "Lean on me" (NOT the Bill Withers song). There are surface marks a-plenty and one mark on the B-side that can be heard twice, but generally speaking it plays well and is a good record for the price. Comes in plain white card sleeve.
Maurice McAlister and Green McLauren had first sung together in The Radiants in the early 1960's.
