"Save Me" is Julie Driscoll's cover of the composition by King Curtis and Aretha and her younger sister Carolyn Franklin; it had originally been performed by Ray Sharpe but was then covered by Aretha using the backing track of the original. This is a ripping version propelled, as always, by the brilliant musicianship of Brian Auger and The Trinity.
This is a French issue on the Marmalade label distributed through its parent group Polydor, with part English, part French text on the label. The vinyl on both sides is a strong VG and the picture cover has the usual slight tears, 1 slit in a closed edge and some foxing on the rear; still a very nice item!
