German issue of the global smash that brought Joe Meek to the public eye. "Telstar" was a worldwide phenomenon and this issue comes in a lovely picture sleeve that captured the the mood and reflected the style of the time. With the equally splendid "Jungle Fever" on the flip, this is a marvellous period piece; though there a numerous minor surface marks NAP the vinyl is remarkably clean for its age, the German London label is very clean with a large centre hole. One edge of the p/s has a slight tear but nothing major.
