Smooth as silk, this 1966 release on HMV, b/w "Falling In Love With You", is yet another in the long list of Curtis Mayfield gems. The record has had the centre punched out and though it has a noticeable surface mark on one side, it plays beautifully throughout and has a lovely sheen. Comes in an original red and white HMV company sleeve.
As an aside, how could the general UK record buying public be seemingly oblivious to the merits of this brilliant outfit? The Impressions didn't make any 'impression' on the UK charts until 1975, indeed they'd already issued 14 UK singles before this one!
